WHEWWWWW! Long 2 weeks

Where did the last 2 weeks go?  It all seems like a blur. Met with a figure coach and am getting ready to turn my training and eating into a whole new chapter in my life.  50 is six months away and I want to celebrate it with a banging body!  Stitching has been in spells but getting accomplished.  Involved in two exchanges with deadline dates for both Nov. 28th. and one of them is to be finished.  No time to waste.

Mud Runners Rock!

WOW! WOW! WOW!  Got our results from mud run.  We placed 13th out of 228 all female teams (41 seconds from placing in top 10), beat 448 all male teams and overall finish of 314th out of 2,013 teams.  Not too shabby for a brand new team.  (not counting the fact, I am old enough to be all of my teammate's mom)

I am soooooo sore today from the mud run!

BEFORE RACE-NICE AND CLEAN

AFTER RACE-DIRT AND MUD EVERYWHERE IMAGINABLE!

DOWN AND DIRTY DAWGS!

We did an amazing job!  Yes, that is me on my teammate's back!

October To Finish List!

Two projects I finished in 2009.  These will be framed, I think.  Still debating on Christmas tree; may make it into a pillow.

Family Tree by Notforgotten Farm-My Current Project

I love this sampler!  It has fall colors, birds and it's just so cute!  I made a promise to myself that the nights I am feel too tired to stitch to still pick it up and contribute 10 stitches to it.

Marine Mud Run 2011

I am exhausted, covered in bruises and scrapes and hurt all over.  The 5.2 mile run with 30 obstacles was a toughie.  I had all new teammates this year and they were awesome.  I will post pics tmrw. displaying our muddy prowess!

WELCOME!

I have decided to create a brand new blog that defines me and opens a window into my life.  This will be a diary of thoughts that swirl through my head.  Some posts will be motivating and others boring.  But they are all my thoughts.  I want to chronicle my two passions, fitness and stitching. My last blog was poor, pitiful and neglected.  I decided out with the old, in with the new!  I just ordered some new charts and threads to ignite a fire in me to get back into stitching on a regular basis.  My life is extremely busy because I am on the road so much with my job.  But accountability to this blog will help to keep me on track.  I will be updating with pictures and personalizing my page as time progresses.  Wish me luck!
